How do I start my 7-day free trial?
When you sign up, you'll automatically start a 7-day free trial of Premium features. You won't be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel anytime in App Store Settings → Subscriptions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → BrushBucks → Cancel Subscription. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid charges.
Are photos secure?
Yes! Photos are encrypted with AES-256 on your device before upload. Only parents can decrypt them. Photos auto-delete after 48 hours. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
Can I disable photo verification?
Yes! Go to Parent Dashboard → Settings → Photo Verification and toggle it off. Sessions can still be tracked manually or with a smart toothbrush.
What smart toothbrushes are compatible?
BrushBucks works with Bluetooth-enabled toothbrushes from Oral-B, Philips Sonicare, and Colgate. Check Settings → Compatible Brushes for the full list.
How do I reset my PIN?
On the role picker screen, tap "Forgot PIN?" We'll send a magic link to your email to set a new PIN.
Can I have multiple children?
Free tier: 1 child. Premium: Unlimited children. Upgrade in Settings to add more!
How do I delete my account?
Go to Parent Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. You'll have a 30-day grace period to restore your account if you change your mind.
What is Dr. Sparkle?
Dr. Sparkle is our AI dental coach (premium feature). He analyzes brushing sessions and provides personalized, encouraging feedback to help kids improve their technique.
My child is stuck on the brushing screen. What do I do?
If the timer won't stop, press the "Skip" button at the bottom. If that doesn't work, close and reopen the app. The session will be saved.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Camera not working
1. Go to iPhone Settings → BrushBucks → Enable Camera
2. If still not working, restart the app
3. Or disable photo verification in Settings
Toothbrush won't connect
1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled
2. Turn on your toothbrush
3. Tap "Scan for Toothbrush" in the app
4. If it still won't connect, try manual logging instead
Not receiving notifications
1. Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → BrushBucks → Enable
2. Check notification preferences in Parent Dashboard → Settings
3. Make sure "Do Not Disturb" is off
